I've decided to put the club up for adoption. i just dont have the time to manage everything. Sorry

But if anyone is interested, please note me on =Ireful and i'll get back to you as soon as possible.

There is a bit of a back log now with submissions and stuff, but i'll clear all that out and do the necessary updates before handing the club over to someone else.

This is a club for all South Africans or any artwork related to South Africa or any aspect thereof.

Have a look around; for members art just browse through our Favourites. There you will find folders for Digital Art, Traditional Art, Literature, etc.

Any other questions, just follow the links at the top of this journal, especially the FAQ's

ACTIVE MEMBERS IN THE CLUB WILL BE FEATURED IN A SPECIAL JOURNAL ENTRY. CLUB ACTIVITY INCLUDES SUBMITTING ON A REGURLAR BASIS, RECRUITING MEMBERS FOR THE CLUB, ETC. WE'LL DETERMINE THE MOST ACTIVE MEMBERS MONTHLY

we've converted to the new collections system. i see many clubs create their collection folders according to the week/month/collection period, but i was thinking of doing ours by category instead.
for example, instead of having folders titled JULY 08, AUG 08, etc well have DIGITAL ART, TRADITIONAL ART, PHOTOGRAPHY, LITERATURE, etc. then i can take a screenshot of the added submissions and upload that to the gallery, or put a journal entry aside for thumbs of the collected goodies. either way, if you're a member, you'll receive the gallery upload/journal entry notification in your message centre.


Thats all i could think of now.
